why did you start the podcast?
I started this podcast because I didn't know where else to start. I was in a job that didn't bring me fulfillment, with no idea what my passions were or how to find them.
I set out to find three things:
1. How to discover your passions
2. How to merge them with your work
3. How to create a sustainable lifestyle around it
Every Monday I sat down with an influential founder, entrepreneur, or executive who had discovered one or more of these parts of the process. They shared stories, lessons, and tips based on their own lives and personal experiences.
After interviewing over 40 guests, I decided to take what I had learned and help my listeners directly. I started providing daily episodes from Monday to Friday, giving people the opportunity to truly benefit everyday Right After Breakfast. The podcast is now me talking directly to you about personal growth tips that are bite sized and action based.
I love to talk to people and tell stories. Sharing information that can help others and our environment is what drives me. I hope you join me on this journey to learn together, and that this podcast will help you become happy, fulfilled and successful in life.
why right after breakfast?
Breakfast is a great way to start our day, and not just because it's nutritionally important. Breakfast is one of the first things we do every morning when we wake up. A daily tradition that puts consistency into our lives, and sets us on course to continue making good choices for the remainder of the day.
So to me breakfast is also a metaphor. It's the achievement of small daily accomplishments in our life that allow us to meet long term goals. Breakfast is success, and true success is about continuing to improve yourself.
After Breakfast...well that's your life. Go live it!
